The MM3855 series are protection ICs designed for rechargeable Lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer batteries. They feature thermal protection and control terminals for charge and discharge OFF modes. By using an external thermistor, these ICs help protect the battery pack and system from overheating. Additionally, they reduce system power consumption by enabling charge and discharge OFF modes when the system is shut down.
